FAANT Focus in 2014: Giving Back in the Keller Community

In the process of delineating the Foot and Ankle Associates goals for 2014 the word "FAANT-Elite" was coined. In order to become "faant-elite" you must commit to being the best you can be for not only your patients, but for your community. As a team, we have participated in runs and supported races for many years; but this year, giving back was something bigger. We discovered the Community Storehouse in Keller was very close to our new Keller office and we decided to get involved. After a tour through their facility, you can tell they have a true passion for serving those in need in this community. They are a team of caring individuals goes above and beyond to be a one stop resource for the community with clothing drives, a food pantry, reading programs and much, much more.

We were so moved by this facility that we decided that we needed to get involved. Our office had a collection for non-perishable items and dropped them off after the New Year to restock their shelves and get their 2014 started. 

The storehouse helps approximately 140 families per month, most nominated though the schools who have young children in Keller and North West ISD. These families are outfitted with a fully stocked grocery cart with everything to complete a well balanced diet for 30 days. This is a gift that can only be given with the help of volunteers and donations from local businesses. Please join our FAANT-Elite team as we make 2014 a year to focus on those in need.
